Track 2 of the Conference – Growing Positive Social Change
This will be the sixth year of a Social Change session with Jan where attendees will experience the transforming power of Social Artistry during the conference.

The ART of Social Change….the creative intersection of the environment, the arts, and your community.

Creativity and passion are required to design new responses to the challenges and changes we face. The arts can play a major role in creating a new vision, of developing shared awareness, and sustaining actions.

Participants will learn of skills to:
• Develop the four levels of active imagination for dynamic vision and actions
• Develop natural capacities for creativity and leadership
• Develop the ability to flesh out dreams and take your vision to reality; make your dreams come true
• Understand the ‘Stages of Change’ in developing sustainable actions and how the arts can facilitate that journey

Facilitated by Janet A. Sanders, senior trainer with the Jean Houston Foundation of Social Artistry Leadership and she will be joined by other social artists sharing their approaches to societal and environmental change.
